Open roles
No current openings — but we always read CVs.
We're not actively posting — and that's normal.
We hire as we grow, and most of our hires come through CVs sent before a posting opens. If you're a licensed attorney in any major IP jurisdiction or an experienced IP specialist, send us your CV and a short note — we'll keep it on file and reach out when something opens that fits.
Why GTC
Four things that are different here.
Direct attorney work from day one
Every matter is drafted and signed by a licensed attorney. We don't hide associates behind partners — your name goes on your work from your first filing.
Cross-jurisdictional reach without the BigLaw machine
We file in 107 trademark jurisdictions through a 50+ partner-counsel network. You'll touch international work from day one — without billing in 6-minute increments or chasing utilization targets.
Flat-fee model, transparent invoicing
No hourly billing pressure. We charge clients flat fees, give you a manageable caseload, and let the work be good rather than billable.
Distributed offices, real time-zone coverage
We operate from Washington, DC, New Delhi, Sofia, Guangzhou, and Camberley. Most roles can be based at any office or remote within a compatible time zone.
How we hire
Four steps, no boilerplate.
We don't run portals, ATS questionnaires, or culture-fit interviews. We read every email and we pay for any practical exercise we ask you to do.
- 01
Apply with your CV and a short note
Send your CV to careers@globaltrademarkcompany.com with a 2–3 paragraph note on why this role and what you'd bring. We read every email — no application portal, no boilerplate cover letters.
- 02
30-minute screening call
If your background and the role line up, you'll get a 30-minute call with a senior attorney or our COO. We focus on what you've actually worked on — not hypotheticals or trick questions.
- 03
Practical exercise — paid, scoped, real
For attorney roles, a short trademark-clearance or office-action-response exercise. For specialist roles, a redlining or drafting exercise. We pay for your time; we share the actual rubric we use to evaluate it.
- 04
Final interview with both founders
A 45-minute conversation with Rajatpreet and Zaman. We use it to confirm fit and answer your questions about how GTC operates, scales, and pays.
Where we work
5 offices, multiple time zones.
Most roles can be based at any GTC office or remote within a compatible time zone. We do not maintain a single HQ; each office is operational, with peers and matters running through it.
