File a UK Patent — UKIPO Patents & Registered Designs
UK national patent filings with one of the world's most cost-effective examination fees, prosecuted by Chartered Patent Attorneys (CIPA). Fixed two-step pricing with optional GB1 priority anchor.
- Among the lowest official fees in any major jurisdiction (~£310 to grant)
- GB1 first filing as a low-cost £60 priority anchor
- Two-step engagement — validate before drafting
- Independent enforcement venue post-Brexit (Patents Court / IPEC)

Step One — Strategy & Search
Start with a fixed-fee engagement to validate patentability before committing to full drafting.
- UKIPO patentability search and clearance assessment
- Strategy: UK national vs EPO route vs GB1 priority anchor
- Compliance-period plan and combined search & exam scheduling
- Step Two ($2,800) only if you proceed to drafting
"UKIPO is one of the cheapest substantive examinations in the world — clients targeting only the UK should always file nationally rather than going through the EPO."

Why File Your UK Patent with Us?
Senior IP professionals, fixed pricing, and operational discipline — built for inventors, startups, and growth-stage companies.
Chartered Patent Attorneys (CIPA)
UK patent applications are coordinated by CIPA-registered Chartered Patent Attorneys. We handle the engagement end-to-end — no separate UK counsel needed.
Fixed Two-Step Pricing
Step One ($699) for clearance, strategy, and routing recommendation. Step Two ($2,800) for full UK specification, claims, drawings, and UKIPO filing.
Lowest Government Fees in the OECD
UKIPO official fees are roughly £310 from filing to grant — a fraction of EPO, USPTO, or JPO fees. Excellent value for single-country UK protection.
UK ↔ EPO Routing Strategy
We model the breakeven point: UK national if UK is your only European target, EPO + UK validation if you need multiple European countries. Decision is made at Step One.
Dedicated Case Management
Compliance-period deadline (4.5 years from filing) and renewal fees from year 5 are docketed and surfaced in your client dashboard.
"Patents are 20-year commercial assets, not paperwork. Our job is to draft claims broad enough to be valuable and tight enough to survive — and to give you the budget visibility to plan your portfolio properly."
